Vaseco is now entering an exciting new phase of our expansion programme and I can finally reveal that as a result of our commitment to continuously improve and increase the level and range of services that we can offer our customers has resulted in our new Inspection Department now being opened for business.
This added service will enhance our capabilities to offer a more complete test programme with the ability to carry out the following activities:
Pre Test Inspections.
In Test strip down , inspection and re-assembly of components.
Post test Inspections.
The high investment in the Inspection Department includes a growing range of conventional equipment such as Verniers and Micrometers as well as the latest technology in Dimensional checking with a Brand New Faro Arm which will allow us to carry out detailed Dimensional checks with full Dimensional Reports.
We also now have four Trained Technicians who have all undergone Training on the use of the Faro Arm as well as 2 Technicians with many years of experience in QC/Inspection departments.
The Faro Arm capability allows us to bring the Inspection Department to the components and to carry out dimensional inspections on much larger components without the need to move the component into the inspection area.
This will also allow us to carry out external dimensional checks on any size of component without having to remove the component from the Test Chambers. This will allow us to Inspect components during qualification programmes without disturbing the setup.
